Tyger River

The Tyger River DGC (7,305 ft.) was established in 2014 and designed by Innova’s Russell Schwarz. Hole 15 was redesigned by Spartanburg Parks in 2020 to make way for a dog park. Similarly, hole 11 was redesigned that same year to include a second pin position. In early 2021, several holes were slightly redesigned to accommodate additional tee pads to service both professional and casual players. The course utilizes Innova DISCatcher Pro28 targets.

The front part of Tyger River is moderately wooded with shorter holes, while the back part of the course features a longer, more open layout. Hole 7 is one of the two signature holes on the course, featuring a 210’ anhyzer shot to a basket elevated on large rocks. The second signature hole, hole 17, is a 430 ft. double island (510 ft. from the long tee) that also features an elevated basket.
